Donna Illerbrun - Principal
Donna Illerbrun was born in Cleveland
Ohio, and grew up with her family as a military dependent. She met
her husband at the University of Texas in 1979. They spent 26 years
traveling the United States and Europe with the Air Force. Her
husband has since retired from the military and is a Deacon here in
the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. They are the proud parents of three and
grandparents of three. Donna has taught in Belgium with the Department
of Defense, Florida, and New Mexico. She came to St. Therese School in
2006 as the middle school Math and Science teacher. She spent two
years as the Vice Principal and is currently the school Principal. She
enjoys teaching and views learning as a life time skill.

Diana Montoya - Pre-Kindergarten
Diana Montoya is the Pre-K classroom
teacher. She has been at St. Therese School for 5 years. She lives
in Albuquerque with her husband Alex, daughter Julia, and their two
dogs.

Felicia Aragon - Kindergarten
Felicia Aragon has been teaching
kindergarten at St. Therese School for the past six years. She
graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2003 with a Bachelor’s
degree in Early Childhood Education. She is currently working on a
Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education as well. She lives in
the North Valley with her husband and two children. She attends Our
Lady of Guadalupe Parish where she is a Eucharistic Minister. She
enjoys working at St. Therese because it is small and like a family.

Susan Peterson - Second Grade
Susan Peterson is
the second grade teacher at St. Therese School. She received her
Bachelors Degree from Bucknell University and her Post – Bac Degree in
Education from the University of New Mexico. She and her husband
reside in Cubero with their two daughters (Julie – 11th grade and
Holly – 8th grade) and their son, Luke (Pre-K). Mrs. Peterson joined
the St. Therese School community in August, 2006 after teaching 7
years at St. Joseph Mission School in San Fidel. Her hobbies include
reading, skiing, drama/music, swimming and hiking. |

Rebecca Maestas-Sanchez - Third Grade
Rebecca received her BA in
December 2007 from NMHU-Rio Rancho. After living from LA to Washington
DC, she, her husband and four children have returned to her hometown
of Bernalillo. Rebecca was an operating room scrub for 7 years and a
stay at home mom for 15 years before discovering the call to teach
formally. She is passionate about instilling a love of inquiry and
learning in her 3rd graders. |
