ST. THERESE FAMILIES - CHECK OUT THE "FRIENDS AND FAMILY" PROGRAM!

Here's an incentive for St. Therese families to invite new students to join our school - the "Friends and Family" program!  For each new family a current St. Therese family gets registered for next year at St. Therese, both the new family and the current St. Therese family will receive a $300 tuition discount.  It's a win-win situation for everyone!

FUNDRAISING BAKE SALE INFORMATION

From Anna Apodaca, Home and School Association President:

Information has been sent out to all families regarding the upcoming St. Therese Fundraising Bake Sales. I want to clear up a few questions that have come up.

1) We are having these bake sales for St. Therese School. All monies raised from this fundraiser goes directly into the school’s general operating account.

2) These bake sales are mandatory. We must have 100% participation from all families in order for this fundraiser to be a success. Even if you have fulfilled your 20 hours of work service hours, you need to participate in this fundraiser.

In order to keep tuition rates down (St. Therese School has one of the lowest tuition rates in the city), we have to fundraise. It’s as simple as that. Home & School works on ways to fundraise for our school and works with room parents on classroom parties, etc. The idea of the bake sales was brought up and approved at a Home & School meeting. Meeting dates and times are listed in the school newsletter and also emailed out. If you want to be involved in future fundraising ideas, please come to the Home & School meetings. We would love your input and ideas.

Room parents work very hard to keep communication flowing to all the families in your child’s classroom. They are keeping you informed on what is going on at our school. Please take a moment sometime to thank your Room Parent for the hard work they put into your child’s classroom. They are sending out or have already sent out information regarding your classroom’s bake sale. Please sign up for a baked item and volunteer some time for your bake sale. Remember….we do all this hard work for our children and their future!

As you know, St. Therese School is a wonderful place for our children to learn and grow in a safe environment. We are very fortunate to have devoted teachers and small classroom sizes. We have to all help out in these fundraising events so that St. Therese School can continue to grow.

Please see the next page for a list of the Bake Sale Dates. Mark your calendars and plan on participating!

Thank you to all St. Therese Families and all the wonderful things you do for St. Therese School -may God Bless you, your families, and the teachers & staff of our beloved St. Therese School.

If you have any questions, please contact me at 897-9084 or mamadaca@hotmail.com.

Matching Gifts Can Double the Impact of Your Gift!

Whenever a donor makes a gift to St. Therese Catholic School, we are sincerely grateful.  But when a donor's employer honors the gift by matching it, we are especially grateful.  As a benefit to their employees, many companies match donations to non-profit organizations.

St. Therese Catholic School is a qualified 501 (C) 3 tax-exempt.  All charitable gifts to the school are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  To learn more about giving to St. Therese Catholic School, please contact Donna Illerbrun, Principal, at 344-4479.

Simply ask your human resources representative if your company participates in a matching gift program and contact Mrs. Illerbrun and we'll do the rest!

We sincerely thank these companies and their outstanding commitment to their employees and St. Therese Catholic School.

Donna Illerbrun, Principal
